The brief for this event was a classic hobby magazine-inspired look using Japanese pop-culture. With an anime-styled figure as the base.
The brief for this event was a classic hobby magazine-inspired look using Japanese pop-culture. With an anime-styled figure as the base.
Using my proficiencies in digital painting, I created an eye-catching fight scene with dramatic posing and perspective using two original characters that I conceptualized. I then added holographic sticker-like text to compliment the color scheme and lighting of the art.

To finish the poster, I designed 3 advertisement boxes akin to a magazine for the event information, with characters to accompany the theme in each given category.
